Google Wave

If you're still confused about what exactly Google Wave actually is, the Google I/O demo explains it quite well:

If I had to explain it in one sentence, I'd say one of the main premises of Wave is to treat communication similarly to collaboration on a single document, rather than as a number of disparate messages. I really hope something like this replaces the current 1970s Arpanet email system.
