Kindle DX Graphite

Amazon has announced a brand new Kindle DX. It sports a graphite colored case:

Graphite Kindle

Some people have wondered why Amazon has changed the Kindle's color. While I do not know their true reasons, I do suspect that the new color improves the device's readability. I tend to mainly use my Kindle when I'm reading in bright sunlight. The Kindle's current white case reflects much more light than its somewhat darker screen. At times, the contrast between the case and the screen is almost painful, and makes it harder to read on the Kindle:

The graphite case should fix this problem.
