Another Skype Redesign

I'm not completely sold on the custom UI, but there are definitely some neat ideas in this Skype redesign by Chris Bierbower, Kristjana Guðjónsdóttir and WanTing Liao. I suspect I would vastly prefer this over Skype 5, but I wonder how difficult it would be for casual users to figure out how everything works.
